
So What I'm Phat is the perfect title for my 1st blog because for years I have convinced myself that it was ok to be FAT! So much so that I use words like PHAT (pretty hot and thick), plush, and curvy just to mask that ugly word fat! Never get the wrong understanding that I'm not confident, but my confidence started going down the drain as I was no long curvy and one day out of nowhere *pout* I was 282lbs and embarrassed because for year the internet world has seen me this aspiring plus size woman at 5'10 218 lbs. I had never been that large, and this thing called life had caused a lot of stress which contributed to me gaining weight, and the fact that I was eating everything under the sun with swollen ankles. I was upset, unhealthy
So Today I am blogging so I am forced to hold myself accountable and to help motivate the 1400+ women (1700+ members ) on the
ClubCushions website. What is Club Cushions? Well Club Cushions Inc is a social networking site, and empowerment organization for the confident and curvy woman , which I established in 2006. Club Cushions is set up to
empower women ,raise self-esteem, self awareness, and self confidence while developing a healthier lifestyle! Yes raise a healthier lifestyle! Now you see why I was embarrassed? Here I am promoting a healthier lifestyle , and I allowed myself to balloon to my highest weight ever of 282 at 5'10. My body fat was a whopping 52%. So my goal is to get back at my sexy anything under 200lb weight *smile* Hey give me a break I haven't been under 200ls in 15 years( im still sexy in my 30's) So really my goal is to get my body fat under 30% to weight 170-180 lbs , and still represent for the curvy community!
A few weeks ago I came across a YouTube video called
ImpatientDieter (which we all are) ,and fell in love with how she does things! Now normally these skinny women who telling me to diet never motivate

me, but she started of at 257lbs (heavier then I am now) and lost 86lbs in 74 days! Now I am the poster child of all diets failed, but this time it's different to is a lifestyle change a change to lose weight while preserving my curves! So enough with the talking already! I will post pictures and a video update every week(she does it every day, but thats just way too much talking) So I hope I motivate you all to get healthy!!!!
Before starting this program, I had already jump started my healthier lifestyle and came down from 282 to my weight now 240. Thats 42lbs O YEAH , but I still have quite a few to go! So enjoy!!I will Start with Day One March 7th with before and after pictures. I will try and figure out this webcam thing, and as I lose , I'm sure I will shop and I get to play dress up for everyone out there! YEAH!!
